A joint Ukrainian-Nigerian venture "Metagro Nigeria Limited" is created in Kaduna, Nigeria on 2000 by granting production and warehouse areas for organization of a service center by one party, whereas the other party deals with the supply of production equipment for that center. Such structure of a joint venture was used, in particular, in Nigeria. The program of development of such a joint enterprise includes several stages. Firstly, tractors are assembled and distributed at the enterprise; these tractors are delivered in containers in a partially knocked-down form. Guarantee maintenance is carried out at the technical center. Secondly, when annual demand of the market amounts to 100 units, tractors can be supplied in a completely knocked-down form (in assemblies), and their assembly will be carried out directly at the technical center, which in fact will be an assembly plant with functions of a service center in Minna, Niger State, Nigeria. In addition to assembly of tractors, the assembly plant can gradually pass to manufacture of some elements of mounted equipment. That principle 10 years has been used and it's functions now at Nigerian-Ukraine joint venture "Metagro Nigeria Limited" with our participation.
The enterprise was founded in December 2000.
